Travelling to Samos

Samos and Ikaria have their own aiports and ports, while in Fournoi and Thymaina are only accessible by sea.

Coastal

Samos is connected by ship the daily to the harbour of Piraeus all year round
    There are also connections with Chios and Mitilini three times a week and less with Thessalonica, Volos, Alexandroupoli, Kavala, Rhodes, Kos, Heraklion. During the summer there are connections with Skiathos, Paros and Naxos.

Air

The itineraries of two air companies (Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines) that they fly for Samos from Eleftherios Venizelos are daily and they are increased at the summer period. The Olympic Airlines has two times the week itineraries from and to Thessalonica, Mitilini, Chios and Rhodes. During the summer international air companies connect the island with other European cities with charter flights.

For the passage in the island of Ikaria four daily flights from Athens are available at the duration of Summertime.

The government owned Airport Samos is found in the south-eastern side of island, in distance of three kilometres from the Pythagorean and 14km from the capital Samos.
